BIGA ROMANA.

 Today the construction of the Roman Chariot was completed. Here I send some photos of this construction that has a lot of history, the chariots started in the bronze and iron ages, they were perpetuated in Greek mythology, in the cinema Filme Bem Hur or even by the Apollo system that put the first man on the moon, it is also the my modest tribute to the late late great musician Vangelis, Chariots of Fire, was also recently discovered in Croatia Zagreb, a tomb with a Roman Chariot with two horses that archaeologists are investigating.

TRAVLING COACH COMPETITION

 Building the wheels, many friends ask me to show how I make the wheels, well they can be built in several ways, it depends on the tools available, the skill and materials that each one has, the method I use is not the easiest nor the fastest, but the closest to the original construction, the well-made wheels give harmony and beauty to any car.

Today I'm going to show you the construction of the wheels and the cover of the coach, this is also a delicate work and with a lot of dust and sawdust, some photos of this compilation.

the tools for the execution of this work are initially pits, chisels, rasps, and finally a lot of sandpaper of various thicknesses, to finish with fine grain wood sandpaper.

These double aluminum molds are indispensable in this work to follow the convex and concave curvature.

THE TRAVLING COACH COMPETITION

 A few years ago I bought the construction plans for the Traveling Coach Competition, it is also associated with the Fischers Body Craftsman Guild competition, as well as the napoleon coach, the traveling coach was also known as the coach for apprentices and from 12 to 19 years old. they were submitted to the competition in the year 1934 to 1935, all boys who submitted the full coaches to the competition received a craftsmanship apprentice certificate.

I thought it would be interesting to make this project, despite being easier and simpler to build than the napoleon's coach, it is still less important.

This will be my next work, I hope you enjoy it.

This was one of the competing models that was awarded, but there were many more, despite the contest lasting only one year, from 1934 to 1935.
