PHOTOS FROM THE EXHIBITION IN OSNABRUCK, GERMANY.

With the end of the exhibition, at the Diocesan Museum of Osnabruck, to commemorate the peace treaty in Westphalia in the year 1643 to 1648, I had the pleasure of being invited to participate with some of my works, the exhibition ended last week. Here I show some photos of my miniatures exhibited in that prestigious museum, and I am very grateful for the invitation to the curator, Dr. Dorner Friederike, Andrea.

BREQUE

Hello to all friends. After this pause following the wine barrel transport wagon, I recently found by accident on the internet this beautiful photo of a Breque, I had never seen this photo before, but as it is part of my imagination, the whole scenario that surrounds it the image is familiar to me, as it is close to the village where I was born, I have passed this road dozens of times, I have climbed those rocks in the background several times, and my passion for building these miniature hippomobile vehicles. So this will be my next project, once again I have no construction plans and I couldn't find a Breque like this one, I think it will be of French origin, but I'm not sure, if anyone of you has any similar photos I would ask for your collaboration, thank you all.

Finally, the mules arrived to be hitched to the wagon for transporting the wine barrels, but they still had to be glued together, as they came in 5 parts, then puttying, sanding and a layer of primer to level the joints. The harnesses are under construction, but only after the mules are painted with the final paint the harness and harness will be finished, which will still take some time. MY FIRST INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION IS 20 YEARS AGO TODAY.

To mark the passage through Olivença in 1716, of King D. João V, and his brothers. D. Francisco and D. António, in the year 1716, an exhibition was inaugurated at the Ethnographic Museum Extremeño ´´González Santana´´, in the city of Olivença, Spain, on June 27, 2003, therefore 20 years ago today. For this event, I had the pleasure of being invited to participate with two of my miniature coaches, as this was also my first exhibition, 20 years ago today. Mrs. Dr. Silvana Bessone, director of the Museu Nacional dos Coches, my sincere thanks for the invitation. I loved getting to know this Museum with a very rich cultural and historical heritage, I highly recommend a visit to this place. PUTTING A FACE ON PEACE

On the occasion of the 375th anniversary of the peace of Westphalia. Germany, a special exhibition will open in the Treasury Room of the Osnabruck Diocesan Museum from 7 June to 1 November 2023. Giving a Face to Peace, Life and Negotiations at the Peace Congress of Westphalia, in the Year 1643 to 1648. DIA INTERNACIONAL DOS MUSEUS

My international museum day was spent at the Museu Nacional dos Coches workshop showing how I build my miniature coaches and carriages.
