DOGCART

oday, I will present my new project.

It is a hunting car or dogcart as it is also called.

This vehicle of Portuguese origin, from the 19th century, was manufactured by Nils Ansen & Filho, Lisbon. This car is on display at the Museu Nacional dos Coches, in Lisbon, where it can be visited, it is very elegant and versatile, with black green and red colors, it also served as a car to drive around town or country, it carried 6 passengers, under the seats there was space for the transport of hunting dogs, where there are respirators with red painted tablets, there is also a wicker basket on the left side that served for the transport of hunting weapons., it could be pulled by 2 or 4 horses.

This will be my next project, where I have already taken several notes and detailed photos. I invite all my friends to follow this construction, I hope you like it and appreciate it. Some photos from this initial compilation.

Some notes, measurements and drawings for the construction of the plan of this hunting car, the scale will be 1/10

This was my first hobby, before coaches and carriages.

Hi all friends, thanks for visiting my blog.

Today, contrary to what is usual, I'm going to show my work that I used to do before miniatures of carriages and cars, about 22 years ago I started making ship models, a hobby accessible to anyone with a minimum of skill, patience and good taste.

My last work was the frigate D. Fernando II e Glória, made to scale 1/96, with plans purchased from the Museu de Marinha in Lisbon, this work took about 2 years to complete. Here are some photos from this compilation.

Also my collection of carriages and automobiles will return very soon to the Museu Nacional dos Coches, after the exhibition at the Museu Marquês de Pombal, in Pombal, I'll give you more news soon.
