Construction of roof rails and seats, this is a work that requires some practice with regard to welding with 2 mm galvanized wire, from which this work is performed, so that the lateral curvatures are symmetrical, it is necessary make wooden moldings to the right and left side, as well as the slope of the backrest that the seats have, about 5 degrees back and 3 for each side, the wire should be very well sanded and heated with torch in the bending zones , so that it becomes softer and facilitates bending, plus some photos of the execution of this work.

Once the doors have been finished and the lanterns painted, it is time to test and refine these pieces in the respective places where the carriage is to be fixed, since they are separate components of the body, they will be stored to fix at the end of the construction.
Many people will tell what the trunk has to do with the lanterns, and now the trunks were an integral part of these carriages, where the travel arrangements were transported as ropes to tie up the luggage, waxed for when it rained, and other materials and tools inherent in the long travel, in this particular case, of my model, it plays another function, it is it that turns on and off the lamps as you can see in the images, some more photos of this progress, I hope you enjoy the construction.

Today the construction of malaposta 5 lamps was finished, the bases and fixing arms were completed, only the painting is missing, black on the outside and white on the inside, only the reflector will be in polished metal, like the original, plus some photos of this work accomplished.

Construction of Malaposta nº 5 carriage lamps, they are built in brass of 0.30 mm thick, the glass is made from a square section bar of 20x20 mm acrylic glass, some photos of this work, still need to be done the foot and the arms, will be the next work to do, before painting.
